Here in Episode 2 of the Nice Grooves Podcast we have our very first interview, and boy is it a dandy! In it we talk to fretless guitarist Ned Evett and his producer, legendary guitarist Adrian Belew regarding their work on Ned’s new album that has a working title currently of, “Treehouse”. UsIt is a two man band, consisting of Gaetano Fontanazza and Jeff Duke, (full disclosure, he’s my dad!). This video was taken from the Y2K10 International Live Looping Festival which recently was held in Santa Cruz, CA. Before this festival, the two of them had never met in person, playing together via the magic of a software called NinJam, broadcast out over the internet organized by ImprovFriday by way of LiveStream.
